| Founded by Nancy Orifici and her husband Tom, Fairfield County Tutors was created to support and enhance a student’s classroom experience. Our goal is to prepare students for a successful academic future by helping them become more confident, independent learners. Nancy is an accomplished educator with a BS in Secondary Education and Mathematics from the University of Scranton and has earned her Masters in Special Education from Western Connecticut State University.
As a math teacher and tutor, Nancy understands the effectiveness of personalized, one-on-one tutoring, and has seen it lead to improved scholastic success time and time again. A well crafted tutoring program can give your child the confidence and skills to succeed in the classroom…and in life.
Throughout her 16+ year tenure in both public and private schools, Nancy has witnessed the effects of budget cuts, staff reductions and increased class sizes, creating an environment in many of today’s schools that lacks the individual attention and academic support many children need to succeed.
We created Fairfield County Tutors to provide these vital educational support services to students within our local community.
